The specie Moringa oleifera stands out as one of the most promising sources of natural coagulantsand it is an alternative coagulant to use instead of aluminum salts and iron salts objectivizing toeliminate particles in suspension on water. The present project set out to comparative study of thefast mixture conditions and flocculation conditions (mean average speed gradient and agitationtime), concerning color removal and turbidity removal by sedimentation after 15, 30, 60, 90 or 120min. The sampling waters were collected in the summer months and they presented low turbidityand moderate color. static reactors of 2 L capacity were used in essays that analyzed these followingparameters: aparent color and remaining turbity. Basing on results of experimental work made,itÂ's proposed use the M. oleifera seeds powder extracted coagulant to promote water clarificationby filtration.
